      Training:

I feel that my interests and past work in theatre and film have been quite congruent with a promising candidate. I have a keen interest in physical theatre, dance, group work, costume and theatre construction as well as performance. I spent the past three years as the head of ThereisBear! Theatre company in Galway, and studying theatre in NUI, Galway. I have trained in physical theatre with Blue Raincoat, Children's Theatre and Stagecraft with Theatre Lovett and with David Scott in Stanislavskian acting.

The magic of theatre, and sharing it are my first loves. I feel that I am most sensitive to the atmosphere and ensemble in productions I am involved with, and that this is hugely important in working with an audience, young or old. I have a lot of creativity and an open, objective approach to mine and the projects of others.

My acting experiences of late have been in film. At present I am rehearsing for In My Father's House, by Maeve Hickey, to be shot at the end of March in Clontarf. Recent films include Redial, by Stephen Byrne, POKE by Chris Tierney, a student dance project with Hozier's Angel of Small Death, and Lying Down, and Mine and Yours, directed by award winning Brian O'Brian. I occasionally work as an actor for Medical exams, and my theatre endeavours have included many Shakespearean texts such as Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night and The Tempest, in which I played leading female roles, and supporting roles in shows both professional and student, PERVE directed by Andrew Flynn, Frau Gabor in the musical Spring Awakening, and annual participation with Macnas a street theatre company.
